Okay so I doubled checked and it appears that Support has been added as a recovery email. 
However, I am still unable to login. It is asking me to get a text confirmation sent to the phone above. 
I need to get into the account in order to follow up on the GA and GTM account.

BTW we have a google ads account for them already . we might need to set them up a GTM and analytics- but we already have a google ads account for them. thanks so much

Hey Whitney,
No worries.
Keep in mind that once you begin creating several Gmail accounts in your computer, laptop, phone or network, Google will begin to demand a phone number so simply adding the recovery email is not enough for them.

In any case, I just tried it and have been able to get into account to set up the GA and GTM accounts.
