Hector, please make sure only pages, posts, and authors archives are indexed in the client's sitemap. 
Let's avoid having everything being listed in the sitemap. Once this is done, we can verify via the search console.

When I go to the Yoast settings, I am not seeing the usual options to set this up.

Instead, I am getting a notice that the plugin needs to updated... 
Can you please check to see what is up?

I kind of figured that when I check it. But this version is very confusing. One of the great things about YOAST was that it was easy to use. 
I can almost guarantee that they will go back to the other version since this one is too complicated and wonky to use. 
Interface takes too long to do what I did before.

Worked on making sure to only Index Pages, Post & Author for {AMG Med Spa - www.amgmedspa.com) client. Logged into site (https://amgnorthcarolina.com/) and began to Remove tons of content types marked for Indexing. Updated YOAST SEO settings. May need to send HTML file to Isaac to verify site to get it verified on Google search Console and resubmit sitemap_index.xml for new indexing.
