Alyssa Workman, Medstar Alyssa  In this instance, since it appears we are optimizing the current site and adding pages, would we need to create a staging site first and then transfer to the final URL at the end?

Brittany Redding, Digital Marketing Manager at Medstar Brittany no. The new pages would be creatied and optimized on the back-end and kept off menu until audit. Once the copy is optimized we would audit and replace the existing slug and redirect the newly optimized page and archive/draft the old one. 

So for example. If the slug is /coolsculpting/ then the developer would make a copy of that page with the slug /coolsculpting-new/ and optimize it. Once replaced the original slug would become /coolsculpting-old/ and the new one will take place of /coolsculpting/. 

If the page does not already exist, then have them keep it off the menu and we will add after audit. 

We would only need to do what you mentioned if we didn’t have access for a long time.

Hi Selena Vujatov, Medstar Selena Can you help out with this project? This client does not like their current website. They like the high-end look of our other sites. However, their budget doesn't allow them to do a completely new website with us, so instead, we will be optimizing their homepage, coolsculpting page, neurotoxin page (botox/dysport), dermal fillers and adding a laser facial page.

Please make a copy of these pages and add "new" to the slug. Like the Coolsculpting page would be /coolsculpting-new

If the page doesn't exist, we will just keep it off the menu until we audit. For the pages that have unique content, just copy over the current content and optimize the style and photos, and I will get you the unique content soon. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
