Shane
Can you please check into why the source URL is not showing up on the leads? Isaac already checked the forms and all are hooked up correctly. Thanks.

I didn't think this was for me. What is the source URL and where should it be showing?

Shane, the team is saying "The lead sheet for this client is not bringing over the Ad ID in the Source URL."

I'm sorry Hector. I've never done anything with the lead sheet so I'm very ill equipped to help resolve whatever the issue is.

- The the UTM info is not showing up in the source of the leads. Usually when a leads clicks on the google or fb ads it fetched the utm info but for some reason it's not for some of the websites including this. I checked everything on my end in the form and everything looks good. Can you please check on your end and let us know if you find anything. Thanks.
thank you!👍

did you ever follow up on this? I am still not seeing the UTM show up on the leads.
Shane, I am not saying that they are not on the ads.. but actually showing up on the leadsheet when someone who sees those ads clicks on them. This is happens with all o of the other ads.

I'm not sure. Beyond setting the utm on the ads, I have no control over this. I've never done anything with the lead sheets so I'm not sure what you guys capture or how you capture it.

It is actually
Isaac
who handles this always. But he said he checked and everything seemed fine on his end. Still, I am not seeing any GLIC leads at all. Weird.

This is the correct Meta ads account for this client Mitzi Mabalatan Ros - 2906197449290
Shane
- OK. I made some changes in the wpengine cache where this client's website is hosted with the help of their support team.
To test. I clicked on the above URL and submitted the form and it captured the full URL and passed to the sheet. So basically whatever URL is in the user's browser address bar is will be captured and passed to a sheet via the webhook.

- Please test on your end and let me know.

- The latest form submission captured the gclid info successfully.
Shane
- What is the best way to approach this? About half of our clients are using WPEngine and we would like to provde to them we are working or else they think it is all from organic. What is the best way to approach this? Do we need the actual word UTM or GCLID - could we change it to paid google or paid meta. Let me know your thoughts?

Hey
Chris
I'm a bit lost here. GCLID is automatically added to all clicks from google. we cannot change or modify it in any way.

- Thank you for letting us know that it can't be changed and default from Google.
I reached out back to WPengine support team and escalated it to their senior specialist and he agreed to add both the gtm and gclid to all the website in cache exclusion list.
I have now already compiled list of all the client account name and their PIN they asked to put in a sheet and provide to them in a ticket so they can do bulk update.
I will let you know here as soon they have confirmed regarding this. Thank you.

it used to be that before all the GLICs and UTMS were captured and passed on to the leadsheets. However, as I mentioned in my report and ads meeting, I have been seeing more and more clients sheets not showing this. I been reporting on this issue for 2 months now.
Isaac
thank you for your due diligence and hard work on this. For working with the WP engine team and trying to figure this out. Please keep us posted.

- Can we manually request they allow it from Wpengine? Or does shane need to go through and redo this

Chris
- Yes. The request has already been sent to the WPengine. Shane don't need to do anything on his end for now.

Thank you for your hard work on this Isaac. I will wait a few days and begin testing a few of the clients I have on my list with issues to see how it goes.
