A- botox, get it off the ground. Research shows me it’s super competitive, how do ppl make a profit, unless they’re doing a whole lot of it.
C - dentistry is competitive and we found 99% of agencies don’t know what they’re doing so they make it real hard on customer to get in contact, not good follow up protocols. Not that competitive if you’re doing it right. You wouldn’t have a hard time marketing it. As far as biz model, we use botox to bring ppl in for other treatments and then vice versa. They come in for body sculpting and then do botox. Nice tool for Arsenal.
Are you just doing botox or other filler?
A - without filler there’s a lot I’m going to be passing off. At this time id on’t have a plan to but as I’m doing more and more it does seem like there are so many thing’s they want botox for it’s really filler. Can I be successful just doing botox?
C- a dentist in jersey is doing well by setting up aesthetics side to her business. If you were just an injector you don’t have a way to monetize. B/c you are a dentist as well, having botox is a good way to acquire and cross sell. If you can reasonably add derma fillers you will do well. I get high on my own supply. My wife found a cheap botox deal in Hawaii, now we are paying thousands a year to this guy! He came in with cheap botox then we started buying his other services. It’s a hell of a drug! Youre martetable and have a good personality. There’s a lot of dental ppl doing it. You know the face, it’s u your ally. I don’t work for allergen, I think tis a very good tool.
I don’t think you can say $20/ unit I think you need a competitive offer. Like $50 off first treatment.

They go along with $9/unit. This one is $8.99/unit. I know it sounds really cheap, it is. but they get people in the door and cross sell a lot. You don’t have to reveal your price, you can do $50 off first treatment, you don’t have to reveal the price. Everyone is searching and by far the most popular thing.

A- a new patient special to get in the door then they like the experience and come back 3 months later. How many people do you get that are shoppers that go to the cheapest place? Is that everywhere?
C- there will be shoppers.
A - should I incorporate into current website? Have you guys take over website?
C- if you wanted us to come in here and redo this so it’s effective for leads and have a fresh look. This website is costing you more (* her original site*) the layout. We can add a botox page or drama filler page here. People are judgmental. They want to see something that looks modern and fresh, state of the art. I would consider it at some point. If you just want a botox page to run ads, we can. I think it’s pretty common that dentists are doing botox now. It would be another thing if you had invested in lasers and other machines. Otherwise, keep it all on south shore smiles.
A- do google on botox?
C- run it on social media.
A- if they click it goes to our site or botox page?
C- depend on if we do page or new website. Wherever they see the offer.
A- what do you recommend
C- we talked bout redoing website a year and half ago when we first stared working together. Websites if designed properly they make you money but it requires an investment. So where are you in that journey?
A - the company that hosts it is $349 a quarter. That’s not what you will charge, I know. What would your fees look like to change site, update, maintain?
C- you can maintain yourself. The hosting is costing $20 a month.
A - does re-doing site drop us in google searches?
C -*showed her the searches on “Invisalign near me” you are in 10th position. “Dentist near me” showed position.
If I got to south shore smiles, as long as you keep the urls the same, and don’t make negative adjustments then it would affect seo but just changing website would not. Do you know how many lead you get a month from site?
A - no
C- the contact us forms help. You may be paying $300 a quarter to company but may also be losing $30k a quarter. So it’s important to know your conversion rate. *showing harbor smiles site*
A lot of people like to communicate with form.
A- I lived in Long Island so I know them
C- there are contact forms everywhere. New sites are expensive but old sites are expensive too. We’ve got you on a $1500/mo plan we are now at $2500. A new site we charge $17600, I quoted you 6K a year and half ago. We used to charge less for sties then we found out we were losing money building them. I can give you a good deal closer to 7K range but that would have to make sense to you. It makes sense to me b/c I know how much the not optimized sties cost to the practice [in lost revenue]. We can do a new site or add to existing page however you want to do it.
A - I’m looking at it now on my screen, the family harbor. It’s nice.
C - we can match your style, what you want to do. If you focus on subjective beauty, it’s in the eye of the beer holder, not my saying! But what matters is how much revenue these are doing. *shows Bbl site* this guy is #1 in massachussets. I want one!
A- laughs
C - whether there is dark or light colors, it’s about the format that generates more leads and customers.
A - 7k one time fee?
C- then site is yours and you own it. It should benefit all of your services. Make it easier for patients.
A - upkeep?
C - we have a hosting plan or you pay for hosting directly. Just ad hoc you can ask us to add a new page charge $200, add new photos, we’ll do it for you. etc. site will be easy to use for you.
A- I can add on my own if I wanted to?
C - it’s easy to do.
A- I like to have a bit of control. That’s my issue to my current site on what I can add on my own. Is this wp?
C - there are a couple of different components. Wp is popular platform then you pick a theme, make s it easy to move things around. We would pick one of the best reviewed themes and update it. Like phone software, they come out with new features to protect site then easy to protect the site.
A - 7k, after that, we keep up with 1500 a month? Then ads?
C- we’ll keep you at 1500 / mo
We won’t bill you for 3 months after site. After that we can give you an estimate. You pay for hosting directly.
A - domain?
C - hosting and domain, you would pay directly $20 a month. we do the set up for you. You’ll be in full control of the website you’ll own it. You can make changes.
A- if I’m not 100% decided does it make senes to add botox in the meantime to old site? On my end I can add a treatment. I just did’t know if it makes sense if you add the treatment for me. I usually have to submit, they do it, add a fee - similar. Add botox to existing site then have you do social media.
C- I’ve heard of PBHS before, I’m sure they’re lovely people and have a lot of talents. But if you knew how to do it, you would have already been doing it. Difficult to scale sustainably and in way to maintain quality of product. This is just - if they add botox they would add it the same way the add Invisalign which is ineffective.
A- hard to know on conversion rate. Can we know? Are you asking for conversions just from website? Its there a way to see it?
C- I doubt it’s set up properly b/c you don’t have forms, only phone. In google analytics you can tell.
We can have a tracking number set up, a form, that tells you the number of users on site and how many conversion actions. I highly down it b/c I don’t see any contact forms.
It’s possible there’s a conversion to google analytics on pop up.
A- can I ask about that?
C- ask how many ppl are calling me and how many ppl are filling out form each month.
A- that’s my conversion rate? how many ppl are filling out the form? *yea* What is the best alternative right now? What do you recommend in the meantime.
C- we can run ads to botox. Just add it to your landing page for $250, at least $1000/mo on social to push that traffic. That is for ads.
A - I guess we don’t know until we try it. I’m wondering how competitive can I be if I am only doing botox? I guess we don’t know until we try it.
C- this is a low ticket, not super, but it brings people in. If you see they have a busted grill, you can nicely suggest it. If you want to get into filler, it’s something you can learn how to do. Just to add, my wife spends so much money on this stuff man. She does filler too. We spend 5k a year on botox between the two of us.
A - fillers seems scary to me. A lot more that can go wrong.
C- sure. If you do botox wrong you can blind someone too. It all has a risk.
A- I hear what you’re saying. Using the tools I have now, is it worth it to spend money on ads?
C - I don’t know. It deepens on what happens in your practice. I just can say it’s an extremely popular treatment.
A - let’s give it a try

A - what if they don’t need that many units
C - bank it.
A -save it? How does that work? Keep a bank?
C- not too hard to do. Guy who did million dollar sale w/ bank your botox offer. Just keep track of it.
A -ok. Whatever works. Whatever you found has worked. I have no good idea about that at all. Whatever you feel like has been successful.
C - ou have ideal image running. 890 a unit.
Talk to Whitney about it. Do 889 a u? Do $50 / off 20% off?
8.9 is best converting offer. But does it keep spiraling down? If you do $50 off you are not revealing your price it’s an idea.
A - Dollar or percentage is better?
C- about give them an incentive? If you didn’t have ideal image doing 8.90 it forces us to go cheaper unless we change the offer like a $50 botox card, make it seem like a gift card or rebate, then I am incentives to give information. They all work, then it’s your team getting them excited to come in.
A - I would leave that to Whitney or nicol and go with that.
C- we’ll look at your market more. We may call around. Sometimes these are deceptive like 8.90/u for first 10 units.

A - get started on ads, give us a preview before we go live with it.

C- we get this all the time. Funny you say that. we’re not trying to win any design awards, we are trying to sell. *showed skinner’s Amalfi coast shoot* I’ll run ads but if it doesn’t work, let’s go with what works. I tested them and the video with an iPhone shot in office works better. If you want a botox ad, we can work with you on something in the middle. *shows leads for smaglutide versus other costs* this doesn’t look pretty, it’s a tik Tok video, people are looking for real.
A- I get it yea.
C - we had a lady in New Hampshrie say, this ad will destroy my brand! So we made something pretty, it cost 5-10x the cost. We’ll try pretty, if it doesn’t are you open to that?
A- nicol knows. The person didn’t have nice white teeth.
C - we’ll run the ads by you. We’ll get your approval. Make sure things are fine.
A -Just having us take a quick peek. i appreciate using a real person but better to use a pretty person.
