Hector, please make sure only pages, posts, and authors archives are indexed in the client's sitemap.
Let's avoid having everything being listed in the sitemap. Once this is done, we can verify via the search console.

I have a question for you. 
This client's site is on Squarespace correct?
Which means there is no way for me to activate YOAST settings. They have a ton of pages that are being marked for index. Tags, and categories. 
Any way we can ommit these from being marked indexable on Square space?

Thanks for the screenshot and explanation. One question though. Do I have to do that to each page individually? I simply do want TAGS, Categories and so on to be indexed.

Yes Isaac. That is what I do to all the client's websites on WP. I only select pages, posts and authors to be indexed. The rest is no follow so thank you.

I kind of figured that because I searched trying to find out how to do so and could not find anything. But I figured I let you try since you know more than all of us about this.

Isaac Klausnser, Medstar Isaac I am no longer seeing the option to edit the pages on this site, not sure what it is. I am doing a check up and want to make sure that the blogs and pages are set to index and follow.

If you saw it, it's fine Isaac. This Squarespace is annoying. 
I just want to make sure that all pages, Blogs, articles are marked as Index and do follow.
