What makes your practice stand out against your competitors ?
I am a nationally and internationally recognized board certified dermatologist and cosmetic laser surgeon. Over the past 33 years, I have been the first physician and practice in Maryland, and among the first few in the nation to introduce and use various new procedures, devices, and laser technologies, including, but not limited to being: First in Maryland/DC/VA with the Medlite Laser for the removal of tattoos, age spots freckles, flat brown moles and birthmarks; first physician in Maryland/VA/DC and second in the nation with the EpiLaser for laser hair removal; first in MD with ScleroLaser for leg veins; first in Maryland/DC/VA with the UltraPulse CO2 Laser to treat wrinkles, acne scars, facial rejuvenation; first in MD with the MiraDRy for treating hyperhidrosis and bothersome underarm sweating; first in MD with the ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplant Procedure; first in MD with Emsculpt for unwanted fat and to build abdominal muscle; first in Maryland with the Aerolase for facial rejuvenation and treating thirty distinct medical and cosmetic conditions; currently first in MD/DC/VA with the EMSCULPT NEO to permanently remove on average 30% belly fat and build 25% muscle with tightening skin tissue; one of the first in MD using Coolsculpting for unwanted fat. We have a very modern facility of over 4000 square feet in space that includes 1500 square feet for our Medical Spa area in a relaxed, calming environment that has old world Tuscan designed faux finished walls.
My dermatology accomplishments have been featutred in articles in Men's Health Magazine, Reader's Digest, Family Circle, U.S. News and World Report, FDA Consumer Magazine, The Japanese Weekly, Washington Post front page Style Section, Baltimore Magazine, Tattoo Magazine Cover Story, The Total Tattoo Book, numerous evening news broadcasts on Baltimore's ABC, NBC, CBS affiliates, and I have been the host of two separate weekly Radio Talk Shows on Saturday afternoon and evenings on WCBM Radio: "Dermatology In The 90's" and "Cosmetic Dermatology and Skin Care." I have taught the safe use of lasers to hundreds of physicians in various seminars, instructional courses and workshops around the country. Additionally, I have personally provided individual preceptorships to national and international dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other cosmetic surgical specialists at the Dermatology Laser Center & MediSpa.
I am also a local and national speaker/presenter for Leo Pharma and Vyne Therapeutics for several innovative drug therapies, lecturing to dermatologists and other allied health care professionals. I pride myself on offering to my patients state of the art technologies combined with physicain artistry of design. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and have been selected for recognition in "America's Top Dermatologists" by the Consumer Research Council of America and have received the Patients' Choice Awards in consecutive years being selcted as one of Maryland's Favorite Physicians for Dermatology and Cosmetic Laser Surgery.
