Please set up 2 forwarding numbers one for the vintage park and one for kingwood. Have Isaac hard code them in. Also, have him add another floating button with the new numbers on the bottom left. Then tell Shane to update the tracking numbers on the GTM
I will provide you with the other one in a few.
Vintage park - 281-501-5599 - Forward to = 281-957-6016
Here's the 2nd number for their Kingwood location.
Kingwood - 281-982-4302 - Forward to = 281-747-5533
Please let me know once you are done so I can notify Shane.
Thanks.
I have added the Java snippet code to the GTM and set to live. It should firing now.
The Callrail number is actually this one - 281-982-4302
Calls will be forwarded to 281-747-5533
Can you please fix it?
Thanks.
Tracking number - 281-957-6016
Forward calls to - 281-501-5599
DONE
We are all set here then.
But wouldn't the numbers swap with the Java snippet?
Advantages of hardcoding the numbers.
#1 We don't have to worry about the leads who use adblocker in their browser as most of the adblockers block the CallRail script due to which the numbers wouldn't swap.
#2 We wouldn't have to add the CallRail script on the pages and worry about the page load speed.
Disadvantages
It takes almost double or in some cases, it may take even triple amount of the time to hardcode numbers on both mobile and desktop versions in comparison to swapping the original numbers method.
Thank you for breaking that down for us. Chris, please let us know which of the two options you want to go with.
So this means I don't have to add the script to the GTM anymore?
I tested this, called both numbers. I thought there might be an issue. But leads just taking more than 10 minutes to show up on the leadsheet. Is that normal Isaac?
