I did a test purchase and it went through successfully. Also received the order confirmation successfully.

Also I would recommend adding a note on the gift card product to explain the customers how they will be able to redeem it.
In case you and the client want to check the products on the website. I can make them LIVE temporarily or share screenshots. Unfortunately Squarespace doesn't have public preview link function.
