Isaac This client has multiple domains and gave us access to a few I think because she wasn't sure which one the current marketing company is controlling. This is the domain she would like to use. It seems like delegate access is not enough. Please let me know what else I need to ask the client for? Thank you! 

Emily - I am seeing this domain under her GoDaddy account but it's using custom NS.

Does this client have any active website on this domain?
or
Does this client have any active emails that are tied to this domain? for eg. hello@deborahviglione.com

If the client answers No to both of the questions. We can replace the custom NS with the GoDaddy default and then we will have full required access to the domain.

Isaac  The domain does not have an active domain nor does she have an email tied to it but she mentioned that she would like to. Please let me know if you need anything else from me or if you can take it from here. Thanks! 

Emily - Great. Thank you for confirming this with the client. I will go ahead and change the NS to GoDaddy's default so we can make the edits.

Isaac  She actually just created an email address that is tied to the domain. Is that ok? 

Emily - In this case. She needs to contact the person who added the custom nameserver in this domain in her account and ask them to point them back to GoDaddy default and also copy all the current dns records from dmmhosting to GoDaddy.
