Ivonne - Since we don't have the DNS access nor their current website hosting access. I would recommend we either ask the client to provide us the access to make a backup copy of their current website and then point the main domain to their new hosting on wpengine or if they can't provide it we will need to ask them to do the both of this on their own end.

I have now already moved the files to their hosting on wpengine. They will just need to connect the domain to it.

They will need to accept the invite that we sent to their staff at alina@luxbae.com to access the hosting.

Isaac they do not have access to their own website because previous marketing company took it from them. What options do we have?

In this case. We need to ask the client who purchased their main domain - luxbae.com for them and from where?

If the client says. They purchased it themself from GoDaddy or some other domain registration service. Client need to call the previous marketing company and ask them to point the Namesever back to original domain registration service and also copy the DNS records from AWS.

Once this has been done. Client will need to provide us the delegated access to their domain.

Isaac , Ivonne  is saying that at first we would migrate the site and we would set up the 301 redirects. Previously you have asked for us to wait on that until Shane updates on his end before we set up the 301 redirects. Can you clarify for us please? It doesn't make sense to us for Shane to update before we do the 301, because what happens to the leads landing on the new URL if he beats you to it?

Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier. In the case where the ads are already LIVE. 

Step - 1 Recommended is to first migrate the website to the final domain while still keeping the old LPs live. 

Step -2 Make the old LPs no-index no follow at the same time.

Step -3 Ask Shane to update the URLs

Step - 4 Set up 301 redirects and then delete the old LPs.

Setting up redirecting in the first step along with the migration would although auto redirect the users when they click on the Ads but it could mess the tracking because from what I am aware Shane uses the confirmation pages for tracking and reporting purposes.

These steps may vary in some cases.

Isaac thank you for explaining more clearly. That makes sense. Will you please take care of this for this site? Since Emily already passed on the LPs. Migrate this site then and mark the old pages no-index no follow? Will keep tabs on the ads going live so you can set up the 301 redirects.
