Test w/ and w/out emojis. This is actually not a great representative screen shot. 95% of FB/IG ads show on mobile devices and only the first line of text shows. This screenshot is from Desktop, so the ad would appear that like this less that 5% of the time and would be collapsed by default.
All that said... yes, we need better ad copy and probably should at least somewhat customize it for each client.
