Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector i assigned this to you because you are so thorough. We need to update all landing pages ( and blogs) if any that list this, keep in mind we have a few LP's for Coolsculpting, but also violations are found in blogs. :

note from client: 
I received a message from a CoolSculpting rep that several of our ads have violated their ad policy. See details about the policy violations below:

  • The ad states "FDA Approved". Per FDA regulatory guidelines, CoolSculpting is "FDA Cleared" not "FDA Approved".
  • The ad offers “Up to $1000 off”. This offer does not comply with the current MAP policy. The number of treatments must be stated in this offer, with a minimum of 8+ treatments to meet MAP compliance.
  • The ad states "$600 per treatment", this does not comply with the current MAP policy. Per current MAP policy, you cannot state a specific price per treatment.
  • The ad states “Neck”, "Jowl", "Knee", "Armpits", "Hips", "Chest" as treated areas. Per FDA regulatory guidelines “Neck”, "Jowl", "Knee", "Armpits", "Hips", "Chest" is an off-label area and may not be used in CoolSculpting ads.

Can you please have your team correct these errors on all applicable ads ASAP? We were unable to utilize the CoolSculpting co-op reimbursement for all ads that violated the policy so this greatly affects our advertising budget.

Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector  we got the blogs and web pages. As for the treatment areas, many of those areas are cleared, so maybe it's the terms, like use flanks instead of hips, chin instead of neck or jowls, back fat instead of arm pits, scratch knees and chest
