Auditing Guide for New Websites & Microsites
 
Notes: When auditing it is important to check both mobile and desktop. If any edits are made, it is important to make the edits to the confirmation page as well. Meta data, page titiles, and Alt descriptions must be added after the final domain transfer, they oftend do not transfer from the testing server. Check that padding is consistent throughout the site. 
 
Imagery
  1. Check justification
  2. Alt text for ADA compliance *has to be added after final domain transer*
  3. Image title with SEO key words 
  4. Diversity of models (location demographic dependent)
  5. Authority claims (badges) on landing pages  
  6. Stacked before & after images 
  7. Overlaid text on mobile readable
  8. Desktop text on graphics readable 
  9. Mobile & Desktop images are consistent 
 
Gravity Forms & Pop-ups
  1. Offers are consistent
  2. AD landing pages have bolded offers and buttons
  3. Test all forms to check they are connected to lead sheet
  4. Make sure Landing Pages have pop-ups or assign them if not
 
Location/Map
  1. Make sure address is correct
  2. Click on the map/address to be sure it is connected to the correct client
 
Links
  1. Check social icons
  2. Click all buttons to make sure they are ancored
  3. Check internal & outbound links on pages to make sure no links are broken (404)
  4. Add internal links for yoast
 
Offers 
  1. Check pop-ups and grafity forms and images are consistent with Set Up info.
 
Disclaimers
  1. Be sure disclaimer matches the offer
 
Grammar & Claims
  1. Check spelling 
  2. Check for unproven/exaggerated claims 
  3. Check for FDA-cleared statment (FDA-approved is for medications only)
 
Videos 
  1. Needs to be a light box pop-up - not direcgtly embedded.
 
Phone
  1. Check phone number is correct
  2. Click phone number and make sure it matches when it pops up
 
Yoast - SEO Optimization *Done after final URL transfer*
  1. Alt txt on images

  4. Make sure keyword doesnt have quotations (“”)

Please Keep in Mind:
1. Always make the best effort to be sure body parts aren't cut off on images, even if they have the scrolling feature.
2. Always add optimized mobile images at the same time as the desktop and that the sizes of the images are consistent throughout the website.
3. Make sure to delete all unused templates.
4.  Each page must have a set featured image
5. Cross check that all pages with gravity forms have a confirmation page.
6. All images need to be titled & compressed some seem a bit large

Site Wide
  1. Add ADA to mobile footers
  1. Add social media icons (FB+IG) to header in mobile version
3. Add floating button with number
4. Add top rated medical spa badge to each service page with an offer
5. Assign featured images to all pages

About Us Page
  1. No photo for Marisol - if we are leaving the logo can it be reduced so you can full read it in the bubble icon.
