Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel anything you cannot do - let isaac know

Hi guys, we wanted to make some changes to our website.  I can't remember which Zelig family member gets this?

1.  We no longer do VFAs.  We need to delete that on the home page.

2.  When you click on our doctors, can we have 4 options in the pull down? One to say physicians and have that go to the page with their photos/bios.  One to say office and have that go to the page is already does.  One to say Our mission and have that go to the page with the photo of the office managers and then keep the testimonial pull down.

3. Under services: for lab, we need to get rid of the sentence that says we do labs on site (we closed our lab because of Covid).  That sentence can say, for your convenience, we have phlebotomists on site to draw your blood. We have an interface with the lab where your specimen will be sent and the results will be sent back to us electronically.  On the home page, we show in-house lab.  We can change that to just "lab" and change that sentence to say For your convenience our lab provides on-site blood drawing.

4. Under that same tab, each service we provide gives an option to request an appt. Is there a way to have a line that says what type of appt you need?  Right now, it's generic and the email goes to my receptionist but it doesn't specify if they're asking for a lab appt, a stress test appt, an u/s appt etc.   If we don't have that option, that's fine, just leave it as is and we will call the patient.

5.  Physical Therapy:  we want to beef up this page. My PT manager drafted the changes.  They are the following:
At top of page: Riverside Medical Physical TherapyPhone: 847-259-2000Fax: 847-259-2002Note: Please remove “Suite” from “Physical Therapy Suite” wording when you get to the PT page. A study in 2004 found those who chose physical therapy within six weeks of onset of pain or injury had better outcomes. Additionally, the quicker patients sought out therapy, the better they felt and the quicker they returned to normal life. By seeking out physical therapy, patients experienced better function, general health, mood, and quality of life. PT Saves MoneyPhysical therapy saves money in the long run. A study in 2015 indicated that health care costs were 50% lower when patients were referred to PT instead of receiving advanced imaging from their doctor. The savings were over 70% over the course of one year when patients utilized physical therapy first for management  of musculoskeletal injuries.PT Improves FunctionParticipating in physical therapy for back pain is connected with a decrease in disability. A study in 2006 showed when patients had physical therapy for back pain, they had an improvement in function. Additionally, these improvements in function were most notable when physical therapy was sought out within one month of onset of pain.PT Decreases use of Pain medicationOpioid use has been on the rise. However, physical therapy can reduce the amount of opioids - both long and short term - a person uses. A study in 2018 showed that choosing physical therapy correlated with a statistically significant decrease in overall use and prescribed dosage of opioids.
