Chris  how are we going to do the seperate locations?? Can you direct the ladies please

whitney.zelig@gmail.com - let's build out just one location first, then once they approve it. we will set up collections to create the other locations. Isaac  - is that the best way you see to proceed? If we build out all locations and they change their mind on something we will have to change it 4 times. Best if we do it on the one location, get their approval and then duplicate the products to the each location right?

sir Chris whitney.zelig@gmail.com - just a suggestion, how about we'll just add the locations as product tags so we can just use those tags in building the collections. this way we can have the other locations' collections without duplicating the products 4 times. if they change their mind on something we can just edit the product and it'll update to all the collections the product belongs to.

  Kristabel - Thanks. It's a really good suggestion that would definitely help while creating filters on the home or product archive page and also if the client asks to create a separate product archive page for all 4 locations.

But if we only add locations to tags and setup product. There are some major cons to it.

Biggest one - Store admin notification - If we set up products like this. Store admin wouldn't know on which location the customer wants the service. Since the new order notification email wouldn't have the info which collection customer chose while purchasing.

Email Blast - Since there would be no mention of location on the single product pages we would have to mention the locations in the emails that wouldn't look professional and also many customers may not notice it.

Therefore I would recommend we use variations along with location tags. That way customers would get an option to "Choose preferred location" on the product page and the client would know on which location the customer wants the service.
