Notes: Isaac - we are going to need to do SEO work to point the delamarmedspa.com to themedspamd.com - I will get you list of 301 redirects. We need to make sure we redirect everysingle link not just point all links to the home page. We also need to verify with Google Search Console. I will get you the list of links shortly as well access to the search console. Also can you please make sure the new site has all the up to date blogposts and about page. We will follow the same protocol Samuel sent us from Studio Eros. Once passed

Jonnamae - Hi J, can you please make a list of links on the current site (delmarmedspa.com) and add this to their client login sheet under a new tab called 301. Then add another column of where their new links will be directed at themedspamd.com - please make sure the themedspamd.com has all the same matching pages, blogposts, etc.

We will not do any forwarding yet, we are just preparing to forward and making sure everything is ready.

Hi Isaac,

It is time to route delamarmedspa.com to themedspamd.com - prior to doing so please make sure all codes (GTM, Yoast Meta info, etc) are on the testing site as well. Please make sure that any content on pages or blog posts that has internal links now links to the new domain. Please follow the directions for studioeros below but for this domain. We will follow the same process. I believe we submit the 301's directly through WPEninge.com

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Make studioeros.co fully live, but still not indexable or accessible to search engines.
Check that everything is working well.
On studioeros.net server, access the .htaccess file and add a sitewide redirect of studioeros.net to studioeros.co and save file.
Test to see that all versions (www, non-www, http, https) of studioeros.net is properly redirecting to studioeros.co
Set proper redirects in the .htaccess file of studioeros.co.
Update your studioeros.co WordPress database to change all studioeros.net to studioeros.co
Update any link that has the old domain that wasn’t change within the WP database, with the new domain. Files like header.php and footer.php are places to look.
Once all looks good, enabled studioeros.co to be accessible/indexed by search engines.
Remove/delete all files from studioeros.net server, EXCEPT the .htaccess file. This will remain intact for a very long time until Google transfer link juice, etc.. to studioeros.co and basically forget about studioeros.net
Test studioeros.co to see that everything is working well. If all is good…
Submit it to Google for indexing.

Wait for some reason, I am not seeing the themedspamd.com in the google search console. I went to try to forward the new address on Google Search Console and did not see it themedspamd.com listed. If you have not deleted the delamarmedspa.com files yet please do not. If you have no worries. Could you do some research on using the Google Search Console and how to forward an address properly - the 301s are one of the part but good to do it in the console as well. Attached is screenshot that shows I cannot forward.

I was able to get it added to the list but it failed the 301 code. It is very important how we set up these urls as each url can have different variations I set the preferred URL for delamarmedspa as https://delamarmedspa.com/ and I believe the new one is set as https://www.themedspamd.com or is it like this: https://themedspamd.com - can you please confirm the 301 exactly for me please. Sorry this is confusing but in Google delamarmedspa is indexed without showing the www in front of it. So curious as if the new domain has the 301's set up with or without the www.

Yes - I just checked in the wpengine and this was the old url https://delamarmedspa.com and this is the new one https://www.themedspamd.com
