Kellie Zelig, Graphic Designer at Medstar Kellie thank you! FYI, if you can remember to (and I'll start reminding you too) to drop the graphic in jpeg instead of png
Otherwise, the site has a bit of a hard time with the loading speed of the page, and we definitely want our treatment pages to load as fast as they possibly can.
Thank you for dropping the link so I can convert this to a jpeg easily.
Please also remember to give support@medstarmedia.com access to your canva links so that I can edit them. This link is not accessible to me. I can still convert it as a jpeg from preview on my mac. But it's the little things that take up time in the long run, that I want to make seamless and take less edit/admin work.
Thank you! Call me or text me if you have a question on this!

Alyssa Workman, Medstar Alyssa  tagging you here so you can be aware of this very minor but also very helpful in the long-run work flow ^ to please implement.

Nicol Razon completed this to-do.

Nicol Razon, Medstar Nicol   for these pop-up graphics the PNG is ok because the file size is designed at the correct size and won't affect page load speed. 20kb is really small, which is the size of the PNG that Kellie provided above. I asked Isaac about this specifically so we wouldn't have to convert to JPG and he agreed, we can keep these pop-ups as PNG. PNG offers a higher-resolution view of the image. Canvas JPG is a reduced resolution. Previously we would have to use an alternative website converter to keep the resolution.

Please let me know if you want to touch base about graphics and their implementation/effect on speed regarding the file size and type to use for certain scenarios.

Regarding the folders in Canva. I have been working through Canva to be sure support@medstar has access to the design folders as needed. In the past, there was no asupport@medstar login on Canva. With the current workload and priority focuses it is taking time and collaboration to work on.  I sent Kellie a meeting request specifically about this. It is being implemented already. Thanks for your patience.

Kellie Zelig, Graphic Designer at Medstar Kellie , sorry for the confusion. Continue downloading the pop-ups sized at 400x300 in PNG, not JPG.

And please help me continue sharing access to support@medstarmedia.com on Canva files. Let's link up to see how we can divide what is used most frequently to be sure those folders are all shared first. I sent you a meeting request, call me or text me if that won't work.

Alyssa Workman, Medstar Alyssa thank you for that feedback. This whole time I've been under the assumption I had to convert files, especially when a developer asked me to (I can look back in time to see but honestly, I don't really remember).
I am definitely aware of the higher res on png. But, wanted to prioritize load speed.
In addition to providing access to support@medstarmedia.com would it also be beneficial to give me the login access to the direct canva workspace that has everything so that it doesn't have to be shared?
Alyssa Workman, Medstar
Nicol Razon, Medstar Nicol no, you shouldn't be needing to convert files. Developers know the image protocol, so I am curious about why they have asked you to convert image files. If you have examples of when you have been asked, I would appreciate knowing so I can help clear that up. Otherwise, tag me in the future so I have clearer context and can help clarify the process/communication.

Load speed is ok for these pop-ups to be PNG. Yes, we always prioritize load speed. That's why sometimes you might come across a more grainy photo when looking at things via desktop, especially if your desktop view has high-definition. New web development gets carefully checked by myself & Isaac for technical details like that.

New development needs to be implemented and checked more carefully by developers and assigned auditor. Image file sizes optimally should be under or around 200-300KB maximum. However, some images and icons should be significantly smaller (7-50kb) because they take up less view space.

Yes, sharing the login access to the direct workspace would more ideal so you don't have to wait for an access request. I'll send that to you directly if I can't figure out how to make it a setting to happen globally for support@ to have full workspace access.
Nicol Razon, Medstar
Alyssa Workman, Medstar Alyssa I only vaguely remember that a developer said "I can't open that" and so proceeded to convert it for her. It would take me time to look back and find the exact task and what the exact conversion was. Please understand I will not be doing this as it is not a priority for me to point fingers, just move things forward (oof, I'm a broken record, aren't I?!)

I appreciate all you do and thank you for the info on image file sizes. I'm going to share this with the CSMs on our Slack channel to continue to pass on knowledge/random inforrmation.
Alyssa Workman, Medstar
Nicol Razon, Medstar Nicol no worries, no need to spend the time digging. I understand. It’s good to be aware of so to be able to help remind others when accidental error happens in the future.

Thanks for looking out and sharing the word!
