  | Nobody can prepare themselves for the day that you're told that your 13 your old daughter has a destructive tumor that has destroyed a large part of her jaw. From that moment forward, your life shifts...
Thankfully, however, we were finally connected to Dr. Hanna. His knowledge, precision, and willingness to look at all possible treatment scenarios was second to none. He explained things to her, and to us in away that made us feel like partners with a voice. It was clear that we were in this together...not just through surgery, but for anything we needed. Even if it was just simple reassurance. Dr. Hanna informed us all options and even took her case to the tumor board in order to provide her the best possible surgery, and treatment--while keeping in mind she was a growing teenager. He was also able to relate to my daughter with ease, allowing her to ask any questions while remaining both realistic and optimistic. Fast forward, 4 years, and 3 surgeries behind us( and no visible scars), Dr. Hanna's after care and support continues to remain strong. He continues to check in from time to time, not just about healing, but about my daughter's life and activities and dreams for the future. It is rare that you can find a doctor who you can text, call or connect to freely... to calm your concerns about healing, or simply explain a medication in detail. Your child's life is precious--and he understood that. He was, and continues to be an amazing support to our family. Dr. Hanna is a phenomenal doctor and his character has been proven far beyond the office.
