oh my gosh I knew something was up! I erased above so JJ doesn't get confused. I am on this now.

I see you listed the slug as Medford, Oregon and the content only mentions Medford on the entire page. However this client has 2 locations: Medford & Grants Pass. I think in these cases we should drop the location on the slug and make sure we include information about all locations in the content. This has happened a few times with other clients as well, so I wanted to address it before it becomes an ongoing issue. I do see that blogs are mentioning both locations, so thats good.
When you create new content, are you checking the current website to be sure multiple locations are not listed? How can we help to make sure those details don't get missed?
whitney.zelig@gmail.com
Was this service only meant to be for the Medford location? I assume not, but maybe it is.
I am not always the one to task these and I am not always auditing the content otherwise I would have caught this beforehand.

can you please help with being aware of this going forward when auditing and creating new pages?
We should always check the current live site to ensure new content is accurate.
These questions apply to service page Tru Sculpt FLEX as well. Please follow up when you can so we can make adjustments as needed. Thanks team!
Got it!

this is a good thing to bring up! Thank you! We can discuss it and devise the correct way to address service pages with multiple locations. I have seen
Ivonne
tasking out service pages for multiple locations with a page dedicated to each location. Maybe we could do this for each location if we need to? Otherwise, we need to devise a plan on how to address service pages for clients with multiple locations. Thanks, team!

Yes

we have some clients set up like that to have multiple URLs with specified locations. However, that generally only happens if the pages have ads running to them and we are doing it for tracking purposes. Or if it was previously specified to do so with the client. In this case, we aren't running ads to this page. It doesn't make sense to have different landing pages for each location, thats extra work.
We can discuss it for sure. I assume you have it notated for this client that they have two locations when you write blogs, right? Do you refer to those notes or what is your process when you are assigned a new service page for existing clients? Do we need to task with more info in the notes when we assign? Or provide the website url so you can refer to it beforehand? Thanks for sharing a little about your process, I want to understand more so we can help more.
I'll wait for
whitney.zelig@gmail.com
to confirm if this is for both locations. If so, then I will remove the location on the slug and then add the second location into the content where the first is mentioned.

I think we always write the location when we assign new content to be written (location and phone number) and that’s where we can place it if a service page is for a client that has multiple locations. That’s the way I’ve been doing it and I believe it’s the way it's always been done? Maybe it just got missed for this client.
Thank you both so much for being on top of it!
Got it, thanks.

I think something is being misunderstood or as suggested, got missed. I will fix the slugs and content for these two service pages for now. We can clarify in the writers meeting the exact process. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I mention both locations in the content. I just only used Medford in the slugs and meta titles. Format wise though we need a plan of action for multiple locations. Is it better to forego any location info and just double up on treatment info? Or should we at least mention one. We can discuss this week about what is best in this instance. Thanks for the info on the ads. I wasn't aware how any of that worked, so I appreciate all of the info!!

I see that now

, apologies, the H1 also only mentions one location. I'll leave everything as is for now. I am not the SEO expert, just caught that and thought we should address it. I think we should run it by Mike
Ivonne
. Let me know when we can have the meeting with him. I am writing down questions like this.

we need to know from Whitney if they have that service in both locations, if they do, we need to mention both locations in the H1 and throughout the page. I'll create a meeting, but in the meantime I scheduled one with Chris so you can bring all questions to him and we'll ask Mike the ones Chris can't answer. Thank you!
Sounds good, thx

Just notating that I sent an email to WZ and I will wait for her response before touching anything on these pages or slugs. Once she confirms, I will make adjustments as needed and inform Isaac of any slug changes for gravity forms.

I saw the reply from the client via Whitney's inbox. These will be offered at both locations. I will update the live site H1, meta info, and slug so both locations can be represented optimally. In the future, I will do my best to catch these things and clarify all information before you start writing. Can you also help me in asking if you have all the information on new services when you are assigned and it seems like info is lacking?
The more we can all be aware, the better we can avoid these kinds of issues. I will address this on Wednesday as well during the writers meeting in addition to our CAG meeting today. I'll ask that the client success managers always tag me no matter what for content creation. This will take some disciplined effort but we will get this down. Appreciate you and glad we have gained more clarity and awareness around this.

I see you set these both as H1, was that for an aesthetic reason you chose to do that? I don't see the other pages formatted this way.
I am bringing this up because we are going through extensive audits of many SEO clients and have discovered this issue on many sites. We need to make sure going forward to designate only one H1 on every service page or blog post that gets created.
Having double H1 or no H1 at all hurts the SEO ranking score so I have updated these new pages. We have to include information about the treatment and location as an H1, so I get why both were set as H1.
I will work on drafting an email with
Ivonne
's help for all developers to know about this issue so we can prevent it and devise a plan to update webpages as needed.
Thank you for all your hard work and for taking this information into consideration JJ, know that you are valued considerably.
Thank you so much
Alyssa
. Let's set up a meeting to talk about this because I have also drafted an email to developers with other details. Thank you for everything you do!
Welcome! Will do

- I made that as H1 for both pages, but I have not noticed that the second line was H1. I will double-check that next time.
I have added redirections for the slugs that have been changed.
Thanks for being a dream team!
