Notes
Hello Shane Quast, Medstar Shane and good morning to you.
This client wants to be found by his name.
Can we work on a branded Google ads campaign to show his ad when people search his actual name or variations of his name.
Dr. Jose Lantin

Please set up a $150 budget a month for it.
Thanks.

Shane Quast, Medstar Shane ,
Is this branded campaign on and working?
Client just sent an email saying that the Doc is not showing up in search results ads when they search themselves.
Can you please let me know what is going on?

Shane Quast, Medstar
Clients should never use their personal search results as a measure of anything.
Shane Quast, Medstar
The branding campaign has a $5 / day budget. It is active and has 27 clicks MTD
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Shane, this is what they do.. Use personal search as a measure to see if they are showing up on Google. That is how they measure everything.
Chris already responded to them letting them know that they need to raise their budgets to improve their online presence.
Shane Quast, Medstar
All clients do it. It isn't helpful.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Is there something else you suggest they do?
I am sure they will send another email next weekend.
That way, when they - or other clients do - I can respond accordingly.
Shane Quast, Medstar
I think this case is unique in that they're worry about a campaign w/ a $5 / day budget. Best thing for them to do is ask us to produce a screenshot from the ad preview tool.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Thank you Shane. But they used the search term "gastroenterologist"
These people don't see it that way.
They measure how they appear by searching themselves.
I had to explain this to them before on SEO work we did for some content.
Google does whatever the heck they want. They index what they want and place whomever they want on top. One day someone, the next day someone else.
They feel that since they are paying, they HAVE TO appear on top of search results to anyone searching for a gastroenterologist in Harrison.
Shane Quast, Medstar
I don't even think we're bidding on that keyword. Should we be?
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Great question Shane. I did not know that and I am not sure the client knows that. Let me send them that information to see what they say.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Shane Quast, Medstar Shane  just got a response from the client and they said they want to bid for that word... So please add it.
Thank you.

Shane Dr. Lantin says that he would "prefer that if you search a gastroenterologist or gastroenterology in Harrison and surrounding areas my name pops up"
Shane Quast, Medstar
For $5 / day?  The CPC is going to be higher than $5 for this. We'll need more budget if we want to set that up.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Okay, I just sent your response to client to see what they want to do.
Thanks Shane.

Good morning.
I have a question from the client about their search campaign.
Can you please provide me with an answer so I can respond to them?
Here is their email.

The campaign for gastroenterology should equate to jose lantin md Pc when people search for a gastroenterologist. The location only puts him in Yonkers. He’s been wanting to put him in Harrison, rye scarsdale Larchmont. When he searches for gastroenterologist in Harrison , you’ll find gastroenterology of westchester at the bottom of the list. Also you don’t even find his name José lantin md Pc.
Better yet could you or someone pls call him bc he’s been trying to explain this issue and I think it’s not being understood.
Could you pls call him (914) 954-3054
Shane Quast, Medstar
Do you need me to call him? I have no idea what he is asking.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Shane, that is what he said in his email, along with others. I will let you know what Chris says since they have been communicating back and forth all day since yesterday.
Thanks.
Shane Quast, Medstar
Yeah, this makes no sense to me at all
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
It's okay Shane.
Chris called them and took care of it for now.
Thank you.
Shane Quast, Medstar
Do I need to do anything?
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
No Shane, we are good here for now..
Until the end of the month when they get the Google ads bill and they will send us like 5 emails.
Shane Quast, Medstar haha
