Bonnie has her BSN from Oklahoma Baptist University and spent several years working in both family practice and as a medical surgical nurse. She took a break from nursing and devoted a season of life rearing her children in their formative years. She and her family recently moved to the area from Destin, FL, where she owned a successful laser skin aesthetics clinic. Title: CUTERA enlightenIII Pico Laser
Body: The CUTERA enlighten III is the most advanced Pico Laser in the industry, and

Title: Nano and Pico Technology
Body: One unique feature of the enlightenIII is it possesses both nano and pico technology. Nano is ideal for clearing larger tattoo particles and more saturated tattoos, while Pico is best for targeting and bursting apart those tinier particles in lighter or shaded tattoos. Due to this unique feature, contour clients are able to achieve tattoo clearance in roughly half the sessions of other lasers. This feature also plays an important role in collagen stimulation and wrinkle reduction.

Title: Photoacoustic Dispersion
Body: Older lasers in the industry- such as Q-switch and Yag - use “heat” (photothermal) to burst apart pigment molecules, while the enlightenIII actually uses “sound” (photoacoustic) to burst molecules apart. This is another remarkable feature of our laser and important to note because it’s often times the heat of the light pulse these older lasers emit that cause damage to the tissue resulting in what we call “ghost scars”- usually white scar tissue left in place of the tattoo.

Title: All Three Light Wavelengths
Body: Additionally, our enlightenIII has all three light wavelengths needed to clear all tattoo colors – 1064 for blacks and grays, 670 for blues and greens, and 532 for reds, yellows, pinks, oranges. No one else in the Houston area can boast that.

Title: FX Lens
Body: And last, but certainly not least, the enlightenIII comes with a patented hand piece attachment called the “FX Lens”- which stands for “fractionated lens”. This lens actually splits light wavelengths into tinier sprinkles of light allowing for more even dispersion over the skin’s surface which result in the “glowing” effects of resurfacing. This is ideal for plumping out pitted scars, minimizing large pores, and evening out blotchy skin tones.

Brown spot removal, Scar revision, and Wrinkle Reduction
Any body hair in area will be shaved. Skin will be cleaned. A cold compress will be applied to area followed by passes with laser. This process moves pretty quickly. Clientele may experience some minor tenderness and redness to treated area immediately following session, which should subside in a day or two. No cover or ointment needed, and you may resume work immediately. Remain out of direct sunlight for 1 week following, then apply SPF 30+ on area when out in sun. Optimal results vary but most see moderate to significant improvement in as few as one to two treatments.

Tattoo Removal
Any body hair in treatment area will be shaved. Skin cleaned. A cold compress will be applied to area followed by pass with laser. This process typically moves extremely fast. Client may experience some minor discomfort, however, prescription topical ointments are available for use is needed. The treated area will be red immediately following session, and may take several days to subside. You will leave with ointment and dressing over treated area and will be instructed to change dressing daily for first week following each removal session. It is important to keep area covered with dressing while underlying layers are healing. Sessions are typically scheduled 2 months apart. Remain out of direct sunlight for first week following session and then use SPF 30+ on area when out in sun. Clientele results vary depending on saturation of tattoo, colors present in tattoo, and location of tattoo, but most experience 90-100% clearance in as few as four to six sessions on average- which is quite remarkable in the laser tattoo removal
industry.
