As per the email from Chris, he would like to know how you can answer this client's questions.
And implement the changes he is requesting. Below is what he says.
Hey Chris,Hope you are doing well. Since getting the ads up we have seen some traction, but have a couple of questions. Once being is when we log into our Ads account the majority of our pages show as poor quality. Looking at the recommendations it shows that there are simple fixes like adding our keywords to the title of the page and other things that seem routine. Can you have the team update the ads so that they are all in good standing?
Comments & Events
- I think it is important that this client does not have a pharmacy certification, so they should not be running semaglutide search yet.
- While "Ad strength" is an interesting indicator that Google Ads provides, it is only somewhat informative. The far more important metric is the "Quality Score" of the underlying keywords. I have seen "Excellent" ads perform poorly and "Poor" ads give excellent results. It's part of the ongoing process of setting up and optimizing an account.
- The ad strength on keyword themes like "weight loss injections" is excellent.
- Some "poor" strength ads are on keyword themes for prescription drug terms and the names of competitive products. In neither of these cases can we use that term in the ad. Currently, most of the ads that mention prescription drugs are "Not eligible" to serve until the pharmacy certification is in place
- Take all Google "recommendations" with a grain of salt, including the Ad strength, because they always favor Google over the advertiser.
