This campaign is not going very well this month. The conversions have been consistently dropping or non-existent the past 4 weeks.
Can you please delve into this situation and let us know what is going on?

Here's a screenshot of Google Trends over the past 5 years.
Search volume goes crazy in January (new years resolutions). Then it drops off dramatically. We get a big spike in the late summer for some odd reason. Then it's absolute misery in Nov/Dec.
It's also worth noting that search volume has dropped every year over the past 5 years. For Google I'm really limited to what I can do based on what people are searching for. Facebook can be a bit more proactive, but we need to be aware that intent is really low in the summer months. A more prudent approach might be to encourage our clients to rather than blanket saying their budget is $1k / month. Maybe try to get them to shift their thinking to saying that their budget is $12k / year w/ 30% allocated to both January and August and spread the remaining 40% across all the other months. Our clients have a major weakness that their budgets limit them from capturing all of the volume when people are searching for it and then expecting that there will be ample leads in months where no one is interested.
So based on those trends, we should see an increase in August.
