Although I am no longer doing these tasks, they involved several steps; not just requesting that the articles be indexed.
The person doing this must follow up in a few days - week - to check if the article has been indeed indexed.
After that, they need to check if there are any issues with the articles with the LIVE TEST.
Once all of that has  been done, then the tasks can be closed and marked completed.
