Probably not.  I can tonight.  Sorry this was missed.  whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar whitney.zelig@gmail.com  we gotta change the way we do this stuff, like when it changes responsibilities.  Ideas? I guess we could change the person this is assigned to when the responsibility changes.  Let's also only assign to one person.  Too bad we can't cc people one these.
whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar good idea

Melissa Zelig, Medstar Melissa I totally wish there was a better system than BC3- I miss things all the time and there are glitches ALL the time. ( like for example- Isaac sometimes doesn't get alerted by me if I don't re-tag him in the comments)

Yes I try to remember to  "re-assign" good idea

Good morning Melissa Zelig, Medstar Melissa and whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar whitney.zelig@gmail.com
I know tasks often fall under the cracks; especially when we are crazy busy such as this past 2 weeks.
However, there are few things you can do to help avoid this sometimes. Here are a few suggestions.
  • One - Whitney - always tag a person twice when creating a new task. Once in the assigned task and again in the notes. Just mention their name. This will ensure that they will get 2 pings - emails - not just one.
  • Two - Feel free to tag me in tasks such as these. I always try to follow up when we weekend comes around. I go down the list of tasks - even those that are not mine - to check on them.
  • Three - I know this can be time consuming. But the best way to make sure you do not miss out on important tasks notifications is by checking your BC3 notifications. Remove yourself from redundant ones so you do not get clutter pings.
  • Lastly - there are two cool reminder tools added to BC3.. One is by scrolling to the top and hitting the 3 DOTS and adding - BOOKMARK THIS - That way you can always check back on your bookmarks.
  • Second is by adding a DON'T FORGET reminder to each comment or task. Again, on this comment, hover over the 3 dots, hit DONT FORGET.
Hope this helps.

Hey Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector  , I'm gonna look at alternatives to Basecamp, but would like your input because I swear you know a little bit (sometimes a lot of bit) about everything.  When I get some contenders, do you mind chimming in with your opinion? I'm hoping to find something that will help the whole team know what the priority is.  Base camp just seems to hectic.  Important things get lost
whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar
Agreed everybody . I've been looking into this for a while

Isaac seems to like monday

shane likes BC3 because its a documentation of assignments ( which is critical)

honestly- there might not be "one solution" but from feedback of a few people in this industry - we are doing amazing compared to other marketing agencies. ( our communication skills)
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Good morning Melissa, Whitney.
Whitney, I absolutely love BC3. I know it can be overwhelming most times. However, this only gets worse when you don't empty out your notifcations or follow up on others.
Melissa, perhaps we can do something where only really important tasks are assigned to you. We can funnel the other ones between Kamie, myself and someone else.
Second option is getting you an assistant to help you keep track of these things. Whitney has had Vania and now Alyssa helping her with emails so..
Another option is for Whitney and Chris to tag me in your really important tasks so I can follow up with you when you forget.

Third, maybe we can begin grading the tasks - from 1 to 5 - 5 being the most highest priority and needing immediate attention?

I am here to help you all anyway I can.
I also agree with Whitney that considering everything else, we have done pretty well. Just look at how we managed to get Black Friday sales done on time!
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
BTW, here's another  tip I forgot to mention.
You should all make it a must do to respond to BC3 notifications and pings on a daily basis. Take at least 10 to 30 minutes each day... Sort of like daily workouts. This will help you stay up todate on all the latest tasks. And keep your inbox down.
whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector I definitely think that would help- however most of my day is spent on the phone/meetings with clients or in email.

I foresee in the future that I will become more liek Chris- and have someone else manage BC3 in my behalf. But I am still currently training for that position ( it takes time)
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Whitney, I know you and Chris have to so much going on each day. The problem is that most of the time, there are tasks here which can only move forward with your input or his. At least now you and him do not have respond to each task since I am the one who is tied to the templates.
I will work on having team only tag you when really necessary.
In the meantime, I am trying to come up with a better system. I have now added a High Priority ToDo List. I will begin adding them to the client folders.
whitney.zelig@gmail.com, Medstar thx boo
