HI
Jonnamae
- WE ARE doing a video to raise awareness for breast cancer. You have been a big help with our other videos finding the best journalists to reach out to. Can you help us:
1. Identify the top news outlets -and how to submit stories to them. Where can we email in general story submissions emails, then try to locate editors and collect their names and emails? First focus on popular women magazines. We got Cosmo covered but do all the rest, like glamour, womens health, etc. 2. Identity journalists who have written about prostate cancer awearness, cancer awareness.
Liz Szabo – USA Today Medical reporter with USA Today covering cancer, heart disease, pediatrics, public health, women’s health, parenting, AIDS, infectious disease and environmental health.

- You Rock man, can you dig up emails on those?
Jonnamae
- The breast cancer email to editors is in whitney's drafts. Can you add email addresses you find on the sheet of editors, writers, etc to the drafts and mark in the sheet which ones you used. You can find the letter here. This is an urgent task so see if you can get as many people entered into the email as possible. Here is a link to video

- You did so good. We have adjusted the pitch so we will need to go in and update the message. Also, for emails that are clearly outside of the USA we have an alternative fact section that lists worldwide breast cancer facts. I will upload it soon. I also want you to attach this image to the email draft.

Hector
we are good man. I appreciate your help on everything. Do you work.
Guys I found a cool tool called hunter.io. I used buzz sumo to pull the most popular articles on breast cancer and then sorted them by the most popular ones with author names and then I did a bulk upload of the name and the website link and it popped out 125 out of 170 emails.
Jonnamae
whitney.zelig@gmail.com
- I made a video here. The ones on the "breast awareness list of writers" highlighed in green I have already searched for their email. However the ones above it you can use to search for writers emails.
whitney.zelig@gmail.com
I used the tool to find your girls email at SLC you can pitch, make sure to list her story somwhere in the article or another story she wrote. hgeisel@kutv.com
Jonnamae
- The revised email will be found here. There are two versions. One for press in the United States which has US breast cancer facts and the other is for outside of the USA which has global facts. Please also upload the new image as an attachment.
You will focus on updating the emails you already have in drafts first. You already have the users email. There is a line at the top of the email that says:
"I loved your story on breast cancer" You will then link the story they wrote. Now if it is someone like an editor who we do not have a story for remove the entire sentence.
Once you are done with that focus on the Tab 1 with the new emails and add those to drafts.
After that you can finish tab 2.
Thank you. You're the best

Jonnamae
- I forgot to add the link. This is our top priority. Also try to make the emails look really nice, if there is any extra space please remove it. I will send out the emails as early as possible in the morning. Once I send them if you can check back with the emails and see which ones bounced, went through, etc. Thank you.
Sir, about the [I loved your story on breast cancer. Add hyperlink to their cancer story ]
I can only update the TAB1 email list in drafts for this.
How about the TAB2 email list?
Notified 4 people
Chris Zelig
Yes on Tab 2 there isnt any stories listed so dont worry about that
Notified 4 people
Jonnamae Jumawan
OK Sir, I will only update the draft emails listed in TAB1.

Chris Zelig
Also update the draft emails in tab 2 as I completely changed the email. and plus I want you to add this image now. The only thing you will not do in Tab 2 is add the line here:
[I loved your story on breast cancer. Add hyperlink to their cancer story ]
Also can you please schedule to be sent at between 10:15 - and 10:50 I do not want all emails going out at the same time.
Jonnamae
- do not worry about scheduling the email. I will send out manually. Please make sure we add the image to all emails. When we send to people without a name like editors start off with "Hello."
Also, make sure the font size is normal size not large and we remove any unnecessary spaces. Thank you very much!

Hi J,
I created a third tab called 3. New Editors list. Try to get as many of these in drafts as possible. I made a video here. I am trying to go through them in 24 hours to schedule. Get as many as you can done from Whitneys email. It should be easy because you do not have to copy a link from a previous story. Just add there name to the top. The subject line did change.
Jonnamae
- on future emails (you do not have to modify the previous) emails just future emails. write like this: 29-year-old not 29 year-old and there is a small area to put a space: like this: views. I hope - not like this: views.I hope -
Jonnamae
- I noticed an issue with subject lines. I think it was only a few on previous emails but if you can make sure we do not do it on future emails that would be great
Oh Sir, I will triple check it next time. Thank you Sir..

Jonnamae
- I added 250 or so more emails to tab three that if you can please forward into drafts. Some of the emails are cut off so you will have to finish them, you can skip those ones at first. There are UK and foreign press which will require the different set of facts at the bottom. You can skip those and return to those later. Finalizing the Hubspot contacts for the 45 companies or so do first, then move to the emails. If you could have your team help you with the emails that would be great as it is time-sensitive.
Thanks again J.

Jonnamae
- when you get a chance before next Monday if you could go through Whitney's email and copy the email address that bounced in the bounce email column and delete the bounced email from the current email column. I will then use hunter.io to try to find additional email addresses. Other tasks have the priority but just do this when you get a chance. Next week we will send another email to everyone who did not respond as well as the original email to all of the bounced emails to their new email addresses.
