Chris is going to invite melissa weed to basecamp but could you set up time to go over callrail with her. Basically, train her on what you do so we can prioritize your time for the really important stuff. Thanks
Hey hector, can we give
Thank you
The entire CallRail process is a bit tricky since I have my own sheet to keep track of each client. We are no longer doing them in order like in the past. Now, I simply wait for Chris or Whit to let me know when to audit a client.
Sometimes, I may find one that needs to be done = see my sheet.
I can make a video for her to see the basics.
As far as setting up the CallRail accounts, that is all combined with GTMs, optinmonster tags and other things. I would have to train her on all of those things which is a lot of work. I can keep doing that part since it takes me very little time now that I am so experienced in it. I usually take care of the entire process - Set up CRail account, update spreadsheets, GTM, add Java Script, Optingmonster tag, verify GTM and more - in less than 30 minutes to an hour.
I am going to make a video for her or perhaps I can schedule a Zoom meeting to go over what I do on the Secret shopping because there are a lot of details to handle.
When will she be available to go over the Secret shopping project with me?
Please let me know.
But I am overriding Chris on this. I will have Melissa Weed do the call rail for SKINNEY Medspa. I will personally do the skinney medspa call rail evaluation, report, and secret shopping with her tomorrow. Have you started doing any of that with them? SKINNEY is a great client to train on because they will hear how phone calls should go but also learn the nuances about fielding calls during our evaluation.
I listened to a few clients call rails last night, and man, they were terrible. Like cringe worthy. I think this is something we need to do consistently. So if we can get melissa weed trained we can have her do each client on a monthly or bi monthly basis.
THE TECHNICAL STUFF: I agree, we will have you keep setting up the callrail, but I would also like for Melissa Weed to learn how to do it. So, could you record yourself doing each step.
Can you please outline the technical process of the whole callrail thing in a document. (Set up CRail account, update spreadsheets, GTM, add Java Script, Optingmonster tag, verify GTM and more -) Let me know what the "more" is. Then if you could make separate videos as you do each task. (some may already exist) Having videos like that will be such a big resource to us.
Here's the deal Hector, you are good at so many things that we have a tendency to have you do everything. But we cannot grow the way we need to if we keep you doing everything.
Training new people is hard. It takes a lot of time and it is inherently risky because you're investing so much in hopes of a future gain. And the people you train usually suck at first. So I get it man. I am right up there with you. Who has time to train?
Thanks so much man. You are invaluable. We got to capitolize on you the best we can.
I don't believe Chris wanted a normal report on Skinney like we do for the rest of the clients. He simply wanted me to search for problem calls.
I am going to tag you in the original TO-DO he assigned to me.
Also, the Secret shopping is not as easy as it sounds. At least not how I do it. I keep tons of records since clients will KICK, SCREAM and DENY they ever did anything wrong. (Happening today with Dr. Moran)
I have several sheets I need to go over with Melissa Weed on Secret shopping since I keep a meticulous database of all the clients. This includes sometimes moving onto the 2nd phase which is calling the clients directly. That in itself is another huge task. There are dozens of steps that have to be followed; including using Hubspot, adding the tracking number, changing it, recording the calls, downloading the MP3 files and so on.
In any case, I am tagging you now to the other Skinney SShop task.
Great. Please coordinate with melissa weed to start going over those sheets.
Also, if you do any training for anyone, please record it so we can add it to our training resources.
Thanks so much Hector
But I have yet to see or hear Melissa Weed post anything anywhere on here. That will make coordinating with her may be a bit tricky.
In any case, we will figure it out.
Thanks
Hey,
I can finally log in. I am ready to learn callrail. If there is a time we coordinate, please let me know.
Thanks, Melissa
Once you get passed that, I can go ahead and show you the many tricks, tips and shortcuts I have learned along the way.
We can set something up for next week unless Mel wants to do it sooner.
Please let me know and welcome aboard.
Thank you.
Melissa
I understand you are both having issues with the Callrail tags. It is totally understandable as I went through the same issues at first when I started.
Here is a quick video showing you how to create tags on Callrail correctly so that they stay.
Keep in mind that you have to do this step for each company every time.
BTW, here are some of the tags I used that Chris and Whitney thought would be helpful to clients.
tags
Missed calls (Most important tag since we use it to evaluate them)

Let me edit that list.
I wrote all of those down during a meeting with Chris.
