WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING TREATMENT?
Most patients tolerate the ZO® 3-Step Peel™ well, experiencing only minor discomfort, typically a mild to moderate burning sensation lasting for five to ten minutes. We utilize a Zimmer machine that gently delivers cool air to the skin, alleviating any burning or stinging sensations.
During the acute healing phase, which lasts approximately one week, expect redness for two to three days and peeling for three to five days. However, there is no need to stay secluded at home. It's advisable to avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, and sun exposure for one to two weeks following the ZO® 3-Step Peel™.
For optimal results, we recommend a series of at least three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, depending on the specific treatment goals.
