Targeting Adjustment For FB

Assigned to
Shane Quast, Medstar Shane Q.
Notes
Client complianed they were getting a lot of trash due to baltimore. So I looked at Google ads and say a 10 mile radius around his office. I deleted it. Can you make sure FB ads are only running to those select neighboorhoods that are listed in Google Ads

FYI - there was a 10 mile radius around his office on Google ads which I removed. He said he was concerned with the quality of leads. Is that the best way to do it or do income exclusion?
Shane Quast, Medstar
We've only ever captured three leads for this client. I'm not really sure the concern is justified just yet. I would never remove The radius in favor of postal code specific targeting. This is a very antiquated Way of thinking about advertising that assumes that people are fixed objects. People with money travel outside of their own postal code all of the time on their mobile devices. We need to think that we're advertising to people not areas. And we put the income restrictions on top of the radius we reach people at certain income levels regardless of where they are within the radius. Making the change to the account is only going to make Things more difficult. We are not on a path to success here.
Chris Zelig, Medstar
Ok put back the radius and add some income restrictions. I missed the call today but you and I will catch up soon. Well figure this out

Shane Quast completed this to-do.

Can you see what we can do to get more action on his emsella campaign. It might be a treatment that very few people search for that there’s nothing we can do
Shane Quast, Medstar
I just added back in the radius targeting. I'll have to see if I can figure out something to do w/ expanded reach keywords as well.
