Joint Fluid Therapy

Joint fluid therapy can be a very effective way to help patients suffering from osteoarthritis in the knees. The goal of joint fluid therapy is to replace the lubricating substance in the joints that is decreased or lost due to arthritis, thus helping to slow the condition’s progression and reduce pain. These treatments involve injections made directly into the affected joints over a short period of time, and have proven very helpful for patients who have exhausted other treatment options with little to no success.

Please contact All-Star Orthopaedics for more information on joint fluid therapy, or to schedule a consultation at our practice.

Benefits of Joint Fluid Therapy

When osteoarthritis affects the knee joint, it causes the breakdown of a very important substance called Synovial fluid. This fluid acts as a lubricant to the cartilage in the joint, and when it is lost, it causes the joint to degrade and dry up. This is typically what makes arthritis so painful and debilitating. Joint fluid therapy, often composed of viscosupplentation treatments such as Synvic, Supartz, or Hylagen injections, is designed to restore the lubrication and support of Synovial fluid. The injections use hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the human body, to act as Synovial fluid and slow down the process of joint degradation. This can ultimately improve function in the knees and reduce the pain of arthritis.

Joint fluid therapy typically involves a cycle of three to five treatments over a number of weeks to achieve the best results. It can help patients who have not attained significant relief from other treatment options, such as medication or physical therapy, and can bring results that last for several months.

Thanks Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae ! I'll take care of the blurbs and I will add to the menu. I have a few edit requests please-

1. Can you help with the height of this image so it is closer to the size of the other pages and the athletes leg is not cut off?
2. Please set the mobile hero image, something looks off.
3. Set the featured image to match the hero image. Make the size 300*300pxl
Thanks for everything!
Vania J, Medstar THANKS!

I see what's happening Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae the other pages are like this on the mobile. The badges should be a part of the hero image on mobile like they are on the desktop.

Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel I know you optimized the mobile hero images a couple months back and I thought the badges were kept part of the hero image on mobile? Not sure what happened for the to become separated on mobile. I am having troubles locating the task to confirm.

Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae can you please make the badges part of the hero image on mobile or let Kristabel know if you need help. Let me know if I need to clarify more or provide an example.
Alyssa Workman, Medstar
Thank you Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae for fixing this page. I need all the pages on this website to look like this now. With the badges being part of the Hero and Mobile, but want to avoid covering faces when doing.

Keep the badges, text and button info lower on the mobile hero images like the botox example on the second image but make sure the badges are part of the hero on mobile for all pages that have them.

Alyssa Workman, Medstar
So so sorry Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel , yes, when you have time, please adjust. I guess I overlooked it. Still want the badges as part of the mobile image, it looks better.

Please revert but make all mobile images somewhere in between the height of these two below, with the badges being part of the image. Whichever size looks best in your opinion, with all images on the site? Keep the badges larger like in the first example on the left. The one on the left I like the best, but maybe just a little bit taller of an image.
I want to avoid them being short like this one below it doesn't look as good. Thats what I was trying to avoid, because the *button* covers the faces too much.

Alyssa Workman completed this to-do.

Also everyone make sure you leave it on the menu as its own category and super easy to navigate to. This is for their medical insurance reasons
Alyssa Workman, Medstar Understood, thx!
