Subject Line: Google has a problem with PRP.

Google Paid Ads is blocking website visitors to any website that mentions PRP.

Within the past few months Google has enacted a new policy that limits advertising on what they're calling "Speculative and Experimental Medical Treatment." Specifically named within the products and services they will prohibit advertising for is "platelet rich plasma" (PRP).  While we can disagree with Google's assessment of the effectiveness of PRP, we have no choice but to comply with their policies.

Whenever Google launches a new policy they are exceeding aggressive in enforcing it. This time it is no different. Currently, they are disapproving most ads to any website that contains the words "PRP" anywhere on the website, even if it is not on the landing page. Even if we are not trying to advertise for PRP, your ads are at risk of being disapproved for any treatment/service since the website contains PRP. Even a Laser Hair Removal campaign will be paused if the website

We have been working closely with Google to find a reasonable solution and get your ads approved quickly and more consistently.  In the mean time, we have several things we can try to get your ads up and running again quickly.

  1. First, we need to remove the PRP page from the website. We do not suggest deleting the page. Just hiding it from the navigation will be sufficient.
  2. If the first step does not work, we will re-tool the PRP page to possibly use less specific terms that are triggering the disapprovals.
  3. If neither of these steps work, we will be working on a plan to launch standalone pages for your PRP page.
If you have a problem with us taking step #1 let us know.

We will keep you updated.

Chris

Some patients receive fat transfers during their liposuction procedure. Nano Fat Stem Cell transfers help give you the defined and shapely physique you have always wanted. This procedure will complement the natural contours of your body and you will achieve a beauty that is wholly you. This type of treatment can be used in areas such as the face, breast, and buttocks.

Domain name + prp and see if there are any results. If so find the page change the word and remove from menu. Note all work done. I have done skinney

Search all of our clients and find out if they have PRP on the page. Then remove it from Menu and change the wording to PlateletRichPlasma
You cannot do this on sites that are listed as we do not control. Also, please note which sites you have updated on the sheet.

Subject. Google Wants PRP removed from your site if you want to use their ads.

Medstar Team,

Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar
Sir Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris , I updated the spreadsheet.

  • PRP for Shore does not have a content Sir.
  • Sir, for Monarch, did you mean to put it back to the procedure page? (I updated each title, url and change the PRP to PlateletRichPlasma in contents)
Chris Zelig, Medstar
Please check every single client and remove all references to PRP, if its in the url change it, if its a page focused on prp place it in drafts, if its a page with only a few mentions change it to PlateletRichPlasma. Remove all mentions in navigation, tags, categories in blogs etc.

The way to search clients sites is

“www.domainname.com” + “prp”
Or
“www.domainname.com” + “platelet rich plasma”

Even look for images, and if they have the file name or alt image name with PRP, download, rename and upload.

We need to do this on the clients whose websites we control. If other developers control the site it is mentioned dont do anything. Also leave Veinandcosmetics alone.

Please keep detailed notes on the spreadsheet.

Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel  - this is high priority. Thank you
Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar
Hello Sir Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris , I updated the spreadsheet..
Chris Zelig, Medstar
is all the prp been changed or removed from all client sites or are you still working on it. Make to do the Google search to ensure we did not miss anything
Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar
yes Sir, I removed it from the menu, marked it as nonindex, and renamed or changed the graphics wordings. I added a note in each client column Sir.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Chris,
I sent them both an email yesterday (I CCD you) right after our meeting. I detailed all this info you have here for them. Jonnamae responded right away and took care of it.
Thank you Jonnamae.
Chris Zelig, Medstar
Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae - Can we make sure we update all fields in the PRP tab some of the areas are blank, for example if you did a search and did not find anything list that on the notes.

also you make need to do a search without the www
like this

"domainname.com" + "prp"

Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Chris, good morning.
Do you need me to verify that there are no more pages showing up for each client?
Please let me know.
Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar
OK Sir Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris ..
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris
I have went ahead and double checked the PRP status of all clients. I inserted my notes to the Weekly CS spreadsheet. Here is a list in a Word Doc for you as well.

Jonnamae Jumawan, Medstar Jonnamae & Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel
please check this document or THE NOTES section to see my findings. I found that some of the clients still have PRP pages.
Thank you.
Chris Zelig, Medstar
Kristabel, Medstar Kristabel - I have made a video here showing you how to update the sheet to show which clients have PRP issues and also telling you which additional steps to take. In the video I mention not to look up clients sites in Google ads to see they are disapproved. I want you to look up all clients ads and see if you get a message that it is disapproved content due to speculitive medical.

Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector  - Lets send your notes to to prp that you found to the clients who we do not manage their sites, I already did CT Skin Doc and Vein and Cosmetics.
Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar
Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris good morning.
I believe you forgot to insert the video in your last comment.
I will go ahead and send out the notes to the respective clients.
Kristabel, Medstar
Yeah, thanks for interceding Hector Mota, Operations Manager at Medstar Hector about the video. Sir Chris Zelig, Medstar Chris  this is a priority task, yes?
